All prints are made using a printing process called, “giclée”, and are mounted on matboard. Prints larger than 11” x 14” are on double thick matboard.
The giclée printing process employs a 7 dye-based, inkjet system with modern FINE print head technology to achieve ultra-detailed color reproduction and enhanced image quality.
Giclée prints are certified archival quality, maintaining their color and quality for up to 100 years in home display and 300 years in dark storage.
This is not digital photography, it’s not meant to all be crisp and in focus! You may notice what seem to be “imperfections” in the art. These are due to honey’s use of varying source material, most of which is vintage. We could edit all that out but we chose to leave it a little raw, as honey intended.
Due to the varying sizes of the original artwork, some images must be cropped in order to be printed in a standard size to allow for the possibility of framing. Don’t worry, we do this judiciously so as to not effect the image negatively.
